Catching up... On reading this I wonder if the writer is
clinically depressed: A good name is
better than fine perfume, and the day of death better than the day of birth. It
is better to go to a house of mourning than to go to a house of feasting, for death
is the destiny of every man; the living should take this to heart. Sorrow is
better than laughter; because a sad face is good for the heart. (Ecclesiastes
7:1-3)
Whose philosophy of life is this, “A feast is made for laughter, and wine makes life merry, but money is
the answer for everything?” (Ecclesiastes 10:19)
Paranoia? Do not revile the king even in your thoughts,
or curse the rich in your bedroom, because a bird of the air may carry your
words, and a bird on the wing may report what you say. (Ecclesiastes 10:20)
