Catching up... If a
man loudly blesses his neighbor early in the morning, it will be taken as a
curse. (Proverbs 27:14) Timing is everything where communication is
concerned.
The crucible for
silver and the furnace for gold, but man is tested by the praise he receives. (Proverbs
27:21) How true! If I am praised, then my ego is fed. I am tempted to think
more highly of myself. I am encouraged to believe what may be an exaggerated
opinion of me. Shall I take others’ praises and build upon them, or shall I
take the praise “with a grain of salt?”
